COVID-19 INFORMATION
Cornhole is a gentler version of Horseshoes. Also known as bean bag toss, doghouse, dad hole, baggo, dummy boards, or simply “bags,” this game is a classic American front lawn game in which each player throws little bags of corn at a distance into a hole in a raised platform. Cornhole boards are located in various spots across the park.
How do you score? A bag in the hole scores 3 points, and a bag on the platform scores 1 point. Get a family tournament together, make up your own twist to the rules and try it out! Even if you have the littlest of kids, you can still have fun introducing them to the game by seeing who can get as many bags on the platform as possible.
Some families bring their own bags. We’ve seen them made out of all sorts of fun material! To borrow some of our bags, just visit the Activity Shack during operating hours and show your activity wristband.
Bags may be purchased in the Ranger Station or can be checked out for use from a staff member in the Bear’s Den with a deposit.
